He brought it on himself...
At about 4 o'clock in the morning on Istiklal boulevard in
Beyoğlu, Istanbul, a man was beating a young woman in
the middle of the street. The man tried to take the woman on
to a side street and as the woman fell he tried to drag her
away.
Two other women noticed what was happening and tried to
intervene, unsuccessfully. The man continued to scream and
beat the woman. At this point another person came on the scene
and also tried to intervene but he too was unsuccessful.
However, the woman's cries were heard by a group of passing
men and the violence shifted from her to her assailant. As the
woman took the opportunity to slip away, her assailant was beaten
and kicked by the group. After this, the man lay on the ground,
unable to get up. The group departed the scene and passersby
eventually pulled the original assailant to the side of the street.

" Ouch!"
In Kütahya, Zülkef Dursun (42) was making some alterations at
his newly opened electric equipment shop when he suffered an
incredible accident. As Dursun plugged in the cable of his electric
iron cutting tool with one hand, the machine, which he was
holding in his other hand, suddenly started up and cut him in his
neck. Dursun was taken to Dumlupınar State Hospital, where he
expired.

and yet another "ouch!"
In Bahçelievler, Istanbul, a 5-story building on Misket street
and Çavuşpaşa boulevard in Soğanlı neighborhood collapsed
while it was being demolished. Vezir Işık, who was manning the
excavator machine, was trapped under the concrete he was
breaking up and died at the scene.
